The magnetic grid ruler is the reference component of the magnetic grid digital display system. Obviously, wavelength is the unit of measurement for the length of a magnetic grating ruler. Any measured length can be represented by the sum of several magnetic grid wavelengths corresponding to it.
The working principle of magnetic grid ruler:
The body of the magnetic grid ruler can be made of a hard magnetic alloy that meets certain requirements. It can also be made of magnetic materials coated with a layer of hard magnetic alloy on the surface. The performance of hard magnetic alloy magnetic materials used to make magnetic grid rulers should meet the following requirements:
1) Good magnetic properties: The material should have a large remanence and coercivity, that is, the hysteresis loop of the material should be relatively large.
2) Good magnetic uniformity: The more uniform the magnetic properties of the material, the better, to ensure that the residual magnetic amplitude after recording is equal, otherwise it will affect the accuracy of the magnetic grid.
3) Good magnetic stability: The residual magnetic strength of the material after magnetization should not have a rapid weakening performance over time.
4) Good mechanical properties: The material should have high mechanical strength, hardness, and wear resistance, be easy to machine, and not easily affected by external temperature and humidity changes.
5) Certain frequency characteristics: able to ensure the recording of magnetic waves at the required frequency under certain residual magnetic intensity requirements.
